Viral video for Abbey Telecom

Recently produced this mini epic for Abbey Telecom.
I was looking for a challenge, get my teeth into something a bit different – then I got the call from Tony Raynor …
It was great fun to produce, especially when Tony got his beastie bike out, then we had a morning with the UK Street Monkeys, and the team from Bowker BMW who were very game for a laugh.
And it all came together rather well …

Cruise the Eastern Med in a jiffy

Once again I return from my summer hols with another little time-lapse project to play with.

It was a delightful 12 day cruise on the Ruby Princess. Starting in Venice, then Dubrovnik, sailing down the Adriatic and visiting Corfu, Katakolon, Athens, Mykonos, Kusadasi, Santorini and Naples. All time-lapse footage was shot on the GoPro

How to turn an old conservatory into a new extension

Here’s a curious little timelapse edit. Through the late (and wet) summer of 2012, in this short film we follow the process of turning a tired old conservatory into a shiny new extension …

It was mainly filmed with the trusty old Go Pro, perched on a Gorilla-pod.

This is great for shooting time-lapse whilst keeping out of the builders way, in muddy corners, and hanging off scaffolding etc.

Thanks to all of the guys who worked on the new extension, especially the Project Manager Mark Summers from MS Joinery and Building Services.

I appreciate their patience – and the fact that no-one pulled a moon at the camera.

Split Screen

Came upon this short video, very clever and very simple.
Beautifully filmed – believe it or not – on a mobile phone …

Shot entirely on the Nokia N8 mobile phone. Winner of the Nokia Shorts competition 2011.
Who says you need £20K of state of the art equipment …
